Good news we should have uniforms by the end of the week! That goods to hear. We might of added another lady to the team, Camrod has been working the hallways. We ran mile repeats for the guys today. Colin had never ran mile repeats-so it was a new experience for him, he did well I thought. Jordan ate them up, he likes that kind of work, he’s not right in the head! Tyler held his own on the first couple but was going to bow out on the last one but ran it anyway. Sent Camrod, Corey and Wes out on a distance run after the first one-too much pounding on their knees. The ladies went on a 40 minute run, once again Danielle and Carie battled-just makes both better-Saturday could be very interesting.   Some worries-Josh was in the emergency room all day, he has been sick-throwing up after running and during running-so we will see where that leads.

Had a little time trail today-was impressed with Jones and I thought Keleman and Owen looked good. Some of the team were not there, I told the two guys that had to come from Nashville and Breese to run at home. Too costly to drive over to Salem. So now we are 1 week from that first meet and still not sure if we will have uniforms. We do have sweats and the ladies do have shorts.  I guess we can run in our sweats! Had a nice time at my house after the run eating breakfast-I cooked pancakes and Jordan cooked or tried to burn the bacon! Had some eggs and had a good time. Also someone t peed my house last night! Thanks for cleaning things up Carie and Shannon!

Every time I go by Family Video-Jordan is outside working. Why is he always outside? Because he drives the people inside crazy? The Cardinals won again, 1 to nothing.

Practice is going well, getting closer to being ready to race. Plan on having a tough practice tomorrow. Hope the weather is good. I need to test some of the guys to see where they are at. Just hope to have more than two girls there. I understand that night classes and jobs are keeping people busy.  Just do what you can do. I don’t understand how you can have money to give away in scholarship and you can’t find people to take it. That is a lot of money to save. We could use another girl runner. I need to get some things going, need to get some information out there. The guys ran a good 6 miles and the girls a good 5 miles.  I watched some of Worlds the other day, that Bolt guy can flat run. Not sure I have ever seen a sprinter that tall before. All kinds of statistics are kept now a days I wonder if they have one on the heights of sprinters over the years. How tall was Carl Lewis? The guy from Canada was not very tall Ben ??? Steroid guy. Johnson I believe was his last name.  I’m watching the Cardinals right now, boy do they look good right now. The pitching has been real tough, Wainwright has a shutout through 7 and 2/3. Runner on 3rd -strike one-one and one-two and one. Strike two-two and two. Runner on 3rd. Ball 3-full count-struck him OUT! Eight full innings no runs allowed.

My daughter has a fantasy football team and the name of the team is the LADYBUGS-how many games will the bugs of ladies win?  Brett Frave is a Ladybug and so is Kurt Warner! Come on honey we brought you up better than that.  I’ll let you know how practice goes.

We are still meeting around 5 each day for practice each. Makes for a long day, for me, for the students. But I have noticed that the boys soccer team and the girls volleyball teams are both practicing around the same time as we do, and sometimes they are still there when we leave. We have had a couple of practices this week when storms have rolled in, yesterday, Wednesday was real nasty. It tough to send the kids out on a run of an hour and then have a storm come in real quick. We have one young lady on the team, her name is Shannon, she is scared to death of storms. The volleyball coach had to lead her home one night. I have been giving her a rough time about her fear, of coarse I’m scared of heights, but I would tell her that. This team is going to be fun to deal with, some different personalities. We probably won’t set the world on fire but we wouldn’t be the worse team either. What I’m proud of is that everyone of these kids are in district. I like the idea of helping the local kids and their parents with some of the expenses of going to school. Right now the economy is not the best in the area, so I’m glad to be able to help out.  I can’t wait to race and see where we are as teams. September 5th we get to find out whats up. I just watched a video of Josh Thebeau running his 800 and 1600 at the Missouri 3A State meet, very interesting, very very interesting.
