We also worked out our behind-the-scenes arguments. For some of us(me being one) we had to learn to tolerate some childish situations. But we stuck together as WILDCATS! I think that we all have truly came out with this season with a tight and untouchable bond. Because when its all said and done at the end of the day... injuries aside, those stupid points aside, and all of the drama aside... We were there for each other.. through thick and thin.. And I believe that is how we accomplished all of our goals.. Also helping you achieve yours in the process.. Making it to the the highest stage, the big time, the trip up north, the State Meet at Peoria! I will never forget this remarkable season, or the seven years of your coaching! Maybe I did not meet some of my expectations throughout the season, but I enjoyed the experience! Thanks for the mememories! -Coach-

What a pleasure it has been to watch and listen for the results of your meets all season. Kevin and I have loved watching you all perform on the cross country courses throughout the past years. Even more important, watching all of the cross country "kids" grow into young adults and move on...what a humbling experience! Coach Mike, you have so much to be proud of! The dedication to your family...for that is what your team is to you, as well as your wonderful family at home, cannot be measured. Please know how much it meant to us, as well as the other parents, for you to take care of "our" children as you do your own. As we all know, to aim for a spectacular race on a special day for a single athlete is extremely difficult. To have 7 young men step up and race for a single goal is simply amazing.
