Are you getting those base miles in? A lot of young runners do not understand how important the summer base miles are. You need to build your endurance and your strength to prepare for a long season. By building a good solid base you will then be ready for the speed work outs, the racing during the season. Base miles keep the injuries down, and allows you to recover quicker from hard workouts. So keep putting the miles on and get yourself ready for a great season.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. Hope you had a good time. My suggestion would of had been to “don’t step on any sand crabs!”
See ya!
