It started! Another year. Year 18 of coaching cross xc. Seems like yesterday when, there I was, 60 graders and me. Now 18 years later, me and college kids. And guess what? Its hot, been real hot. The thermometer has hit 100 and the heat index over 110! I’m excited, the girls team is much improved. We should be stronger 1 through 5 and our number six is going to improve as the year goes on. I can see a lot of changes during the year with Mollie, Shannon, Megan, Toni and Chelsea changing places through the season and little Janelle will just keep getting better. The men team will be a lot better. Last year we had no team balance. We should be bunched a lot closer this year. I can see 3 to 5 guys under 30 minutes. Voss has looked very strong so far. And Dustin, Nix and Goff makes us sooooooooo much better. And we still have not seen Jones yet. We still probably don’t have a true front runner, but we should have a good pack. Only time will tell. Come November the truth will come to the front.
