Talked to Corey Hopkins today and he is now throwing the javelin. I would have him in the decathlon, he is a great athlete. Grant came by practice to help with the young guys and their hand offs, he was always the best at taking a hand off. We watched Q triple jump, he is a natural, I, then had him go to the high jump, as far as I know he has never done it, natural! Follett is starting to look better in practice in the vault, he will be thinking about 13′ by the end of the year. Jordan’s steps are off for some reason, he is under for some reason. With some good weather to practice, we could get some things done, but right now, we might need to be building an ark! The Orphan relays will be a cold one, I hope we come mentally prepared, the 4×800 should be in the race for the top spots after that who knows. We could score in the HJ, Discus, and maybe the vault, the 110 shuttle will be ok.Let me not forget the Jones mobile and the 3200M run! Go Wildcats- conference is less than a month away!
